LOVE (n). A deep, tender,
ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person,
such as that arising from kinship,
recognition of attractive qualities,
or a sense of underlying oneness.
I have never felt what it was like to be in love
and for a person to be in love with me. Or at least not yet.
To be in love is heaven. What can be greater than to be in love with someone?
People may think otherwise, thinking of all the problems that a person may endure, the thousands of money they will spend on gifts, chocolates and flowers, the heartache that is sure to follow.
Can't they see that without all these things, love will be just an empty word, with no meaning, with no truth, with no importance.
LOVE is the greatest gift that God has given us-I know it sounds cliche, but what else can be said when that is the truth?
If you were to ask me what my definition of LOVE is, I wouldn't be able to to put it onto words.
LOVE IS OF SOME GREATER POWER...
SOMETIMES I EVEN THINK THAT WE HUMANS DON'T
DESERVE SUCH POWER-
LOVE IS
USED
ABUSED
TORTURED
SUFFOCATED
HERE ON EARTH
AND YET
THOUGH PANDORA'S BOX SEEM TO HAVE UNLEASHED ALL OF ITS WRATH
HOPE IS LEFT...
BUT LET ME ASK YOU THIS:
WILL YOU JUST STAND THERE AND HOPE WHILE THE WORLD ID IN PERIL?
WILL YOU LET LOVE DIE IN YOUR ARMS?
IS HOPE ENOUGH TO RID ALL THE INJUSTICES ON EARTH?
ACT.LIVE.LOVE.HOPE.PRAY.
I must apologize for my post, for, at first i was here to talk about the greatness of love and yet i have ended this post with the harsh reality of injustice and peril in the world today. For that I am sorry.
